Terms of use and legal notice

Last updated: 24 October 2026

These terms are the rules for using oilprices.io under the Polish Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means of 18 July 2002 (ustawa o świadczeniu usług drogą elektroniczną).

1. Service provider

oilprices.io is run by Nicholas Ralph, ul. Kolista 85, 43-300 Bielsko-Biała, Poland. Email: hello@oilprices.io.

2. What the service is

The site lets you view live prices of Brent and WTI crude oil, price history charts and related information, free of charge and without registration. The site is funded by advertising.

3. Technical requirements

You need a device with internet access and a current web browser with JavaScript enabled, such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.

4. Start and end of use

An agreement to use the service starts when you open the site and ends when you close it. You can stop using the site at any time, at no cost.

5. Your obligations

You must not send unlawful content to us, or try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.

6. Information only, no investment advice

Prices and charts are provided by TradingView, Inc. and show OANDA's Brent and WTI crude oil quotes, which follow the futures markets but are not official exchange prices or settlements. They may be late, incomplete or wrong. Nothing on this site is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Do not use it for trading decisions. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of information shown here.

7. Complaints

If the site does not work as described, email hello@oilprices.io describing the problem. We reply within 14 days.

8. Content and trademarks

The design and text of this site belong to its operator. Brent and WTI are names of oil benchmarks and are used here only to describe the data shown. Price widgets and their content belong to TradingView, Inc. and its data providers.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data and cookies is explained in the privacy and cookie policy.

10. Changes and governing law

We may change these terms. The current version is always on this page. Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of protection given by the law of their country of residence.
